Come Ride Our Trails!

The Raccoon Valley Snow Chasers snowmobile club has worked hard to create nearly 200 miles of marked and groomed trails in our area. Please check out the "Trail Map" tab on this website to view our entire trail system, or to make a printout of the map. 

We cordially invite you to come ride our trails and patronize our friendly local merchants when doing so. Importantly, all snowmobiles that ride on the Raccoon River Valley Trail segment of our trail system are requried to have a trail pass. The fee is $2.00 per day or $10.00 per year. For more information on obtaining the trail pass for that segment of our trail system, go to www.raccoonrivervalleytrail.org. Also, RRVT trail passes can be purchased from county offices in our area or several local retailers along our trail system.

As mentioned above, our club has worked very hard to cultivate a "snowmobile friendly" attitude among our local citizens, businesses and our local officials. All it takes is one or two "bad apples" to spoil the good reputation we have worked so hard to create in our area. PLEASE ride our trails responsibly. Stay on the marked trails! 

Stay off private property and local roads--unless on the marked trail system.
